Dedicated Time for Discovery: Apply for 2026-2027 A&S Humanities Fellowship
Mississippi State’s College of Arts and Sciences faculty members interested in applying for a 2026-2027 Institute for the Humanities Fellowship are invited to apply now through Aug. 28.
The fellowship provides a one-course release during Spring 2027 and $1,000 in discretionary funds to support a humanities or humanities-related project already in progress. Faculty members of all ranks in the College of Arts and Sciences are eligible to apply, with priority given to associate professors and assistant professors who have completed their third-year review and need dedicated time to advance their research or creative work.
Faculty can review the process and access the application portal through the Institute for the Humanities Fellowship website. Applications are due Aug. 28.
