Fan Day celebration coming up Saturday

Mississippi State supporters can meet the 2016 Bulldog football and volleyball teams at the annual Fan Day celebration on Saturday [Aug. 20] inside the Palmeiro Center.

Doors open at 3 p.m. with autograph availability running from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Fans are asked to enter through the southeast entrance of the Palmeiro Center. The football and volleyball teams will arrive at 3:30 p.m.

To help ensure everyone in attendance has a chance to meet all the players and head coach Dan Mullen, student-athletes may only sign posters while Coach Mullen will autograph one item per person. Posters and schedule cards will be available for free to fans.

Other attractions include music, a Kids' Zone with inflatable games, appearances by Bully, Jak and the MSU cheerleaders and dance team. There will be free drinks for fans.

Restrooms will be open in the Griffis Boardroom and at Dudy Noble Field. Parking is available in the Palmeiro-Griffis lot. The Leo Seal Jr. Football Complex lot will be closed.

Several Maroon Memories fan experiences will be available for purchase beginning Aug. 17, including early entry passes as well as parking passes for the event. For more information, visit HailState.com/memories.

Fans can visit HailState.com/tickets for multiple options for tickets for the 2016 season, including $99 mini plans which include a ticket to the South Alabama season-opener (Sept. 3) and a ticket to a choice of two of the following three games: South Carolina (Sept. 10), Texas A&M (Nov. 5) and Arkansas (Nov. 19).

The newest option for Bulldog fans, BLITZ On-Demand (HailState.com/BLITZ), allows fans to pay a monthly fee and have access to tickets to home, regular-season events, whenever they want them. These tickets will be accepted and delivered digitally to each fan through their smart phone. The Netflix-type approach costs $29.99 per month for 10 months (or can be paid in full at $299.99 upon sign-up) and is available only to fans who live within 60 miles of the MSU Starkville campus.
