Will Staggers, director of development for the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Mississippi State University, as well as the MSU Extension Service and the Mississippi Agriculture and Forestry Experiment Station, has been reappointed to a one-year term on the Board of Directors for the National Agricultural Alumni and Development Association (NAADA).

Staggers will serve as a director at large and be appointed to special projects throughout the year. His term of service began on June 17 with that of more than 20 other board members from across the United States following NAADA’s 47th-annual conference.

“I look forward to partnering with our board members as they include a diverse representation of individuals from all over the country,” said NAADA President Jordan Moseley. “This diversity is vital to our organization enhancing mission-critical solutions to better serve NAADA and our universities as NAADA provides education, support and recognition for professionals and volunteers dedicated to expanding resources for advancing agriculture and related disciplines through land-grant and other colleges of agricultural sciences and partner programs.”

A Starkville native, Staggers received his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from the MSU College of Education in 2010. He began his MSU Foundation career in 2015 as assistant director of development and was promoted to his current role as director of development in 2020. He was the recipient of NAADA’s 2020 Up and Coming Award, which honors the achievements of agricultural advancement professionals with two to five years of experience.

NAADA is dedicated to the professional advancement of the members and in turn the institutions they serve. The organization provides education and support for professionals, volunteers and student leaders who are dedicated to serving land-grant colleges of agricultural sciences and related programs. The network of members includes institutions from all across the United States. For more information, please visit www.naada.org.
